Christian Speed Dating

I spent a lot of time on Christian dating sites, but was having very little luck.

You see, unlike most people in my generation I am woefully Internet a literate. I could never get my profile to look just like I wanted, and it seemed to be having a negative effect on my attempt to meet attractive Christian singles. I started to despair of my chances.

The church I go to is a good church, but it is also a pretty old church. There are few or no Christian singles at any time, and it is extremely hard to meet someone there. I used to go on speed dates when I was an atheist, but since I converted I hadn’t been on any.

I had figured that there was no such thing as Christian speed dating. Fortunately, I was wrong.

Christian Search Engines

Use Christian search engines to more quickly find and refine your choices of Christian material!

With billions of individual websites on the net, it sometimes makes sense to make use of the specialized search engines.

For example, if you’re doing a research project on Christianity, whether for a school paper or just for personal studies, using a Christian search engine allows you to find specific information or resources more quickly than you might with Google or one of the other all purpose search engines.

So how do you find Christian search engines? Google it, of course!

Christian Ministries

Christian Ministries

I first become involved in Christian ministries in 1996. To be honest, at the time I was not much of a committed Christian. I basically did it because my wife was into it.

Christian ministry was alright for me, but it wasn’t anything I particularly put faith in. The Christian youth Ministry I was involved in did some good work in the community, and I supported that, but I wasn’t sure about the whole God thing. I liked that they were helping to keep kids off drugs and to provide job advice for the young, but I didn’t understand what any of that had to do with Jesus.

Part of it had to do with the dazzling variety of Christian ministries out there. There are people of nearly every description ministering for Christ, and some of them are more helpful than others. One Christian ministry might just preach the gospel to the converted, while another one might take trips to foreign lands, help disadvantaged people, and spread the word of Christ to folks who never would experience it otherwise.

Christian Dating Advice

A lot of my friends are surprised when they find d out that I give out Christian dating advice.

Many of them don’t understand it. They wonder why dating advice for Christians would be any different from any other good advice. After all, Christians face many of the same dating issues as Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, and members of any other religious group.

Some Christian dating singles extremely devout, of course, but other ones are quite secular. They come from many different denominations, and have many different interests. Some Christian dating singles want to settle down quickly, while others want a fun fling with someone else raised in their faith.

So the question remains, what makes Christian dating advice different from other forms of advice on dating?

Christian Bible Studies

There are few areas of greater debate than Christian bible studies.

After all, there are literally hundreds of different sects, and each one has a different approach to studying the bible. Nonetheless, there are a few things that are common to most, if not all, approaches to Christian bible study.

One of the most central ones is that the bible is the true word of God. This is a big thing that separates secular historians of the Christian religion from Christian bible scholars. The secular view is that the bible is a bunch of different texts written by different people over thousands of years.

Some of them were written as a way to reinforce the political structure of a particular group, while others were written to reinforce one interpretation or another of the Jewish or early Christian religion.
