Excellent resource. I appreciated the last chapter, which was written by Meg's husband. Solid advice and points to the ultimate Healer of all these sorts of situations. I wholeheartedly wish I'd never had to read it, but I'd definitely recommend it to other women who find themselves in this situation.
didn't really do it for me.

I have read dozens of books on sexual addiction. This one had brought me the most comfort and hope.
If you have been devasted by this addiction, this is the book for you. It has been the only book that has articulated the emotions that I have experienced. I felt devastated, hopeless, and lost. This book offered insights that helped me to move forward.
While this book does examine the problem from a Christian perspective, it is not preachy or shallow. The author identifies with your pain and does not seek to minimize it.
It will be a book you will read several times! You will find hope.
There is indeed Hope!

Unfortunately, I had to buy this book because of the circumstances that I am going through. This was a really good book, full of Hope. Very religious. So, if you believe in God, you will especially find strength in yourself after reading this book.
One "con" however is that, even though, it says that book is about sexual addiction, it is very much aligned with any kind of affairs. This book does talk about sexual addiction, but not so much in great detail.
Really honest and helpful book..but...

I found this book to be so real. Sometimes I felt as though I was reading my own life story. She seems to have experienced the same pain that so many of us have, and has made it to the other side...I really like the emphasis on truth as well. We have lived shrouded in lies, and half truths for so long, and the emphasis placed on complete disclosure of truth from the sex addict as a vital part of healing, both for ourselves and hopefully our marriages was good to hear. The book does over-do the "god stuff" a little in my opinion, but this is one persons journey out of this darkness, and if being submerged in god, and the bible got her through, then who am I to judge. Overall, I would recommend this book, I found it really helpful, and worth reading.
